Unexpected good local food at a hidden and quiet place in the middle of beautiful nature. Awesome 'Biergarten'. Try the Wisper Forelle (local fresh trout). Yestday for lunch we was there again. We got Sauerbraten and Wild Boar. Great.

Nach einer Wanderung kehrten wir in dieses Restaurant ein, welches glücklicherweise sonntags um die Mittagszeit geöffnet hat. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und regional gestaltet. Jetzt zur Pilzzeit gab es einige Gerichte damit. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Die Portionen groß und die Preise absolut angemessen. Eine schöne Überraschung in solch kleinem Ort so gutes Essen zu bekommen. Der Service nett und aufmerksam.

It's rarely to find such a good German restaurant. The trout is amazing tasty and you can taste it's freshness. Definitely recommend!

The 'Hexenmühle' is perfectly located to several Wisper Trails. Had the chance mid February sitting outside in the garden in the warming afternoon Winter sun having the first Weizenbier of the outdoor season with the perfect view West to one of the Wisper valleys. Decided than for pasta which was well prepared and tasty. With this the restaurant is definitely more than an option for an intermediate stop on one of the trails, it's also a good choice for having a good dinner with or without hiking on Wisper Trails.
